So, where to start, I am not new to blogging in any sense, I have had numerous online diaries in my teens and a couple of blogs over the past few years. I love writing and giving my opinion on products and places, taking photos and exploring. I have so many ideas floating around in my head, I just need to keep my passion for blogging alive and get these ideas written down. I tend to start over with my blog because I feel like what I post isn’t relevant or interesting and I need to remember that even if just one person likes what I’ve written then it’s all worth it.
Well, that was a bit of a full on first paragraph wasn’t it?! This post is a week late, although It has been written up for a couple of weeks now, but I have recently bought a house and we have been doing it up ready to move into and well, lets just say I haven’t really had time to even have a full nights sleep between the house and work, so here we are 1 week later than I was planning.
Moving swiftly on, My name is Hayley, and I really dislike it. I always have and I’ve no idea why and thankfully not that many people actually call me by it, most people have nicknames for me. I am thirty years old and I have just bought my first house with my boyfriend.
I call Wales my home, but I am partial to a bit of travelling, whether it’s moving abroad, a holiday or a day trip out somewhere. I love to take photographs and anywhere with a bit of history, culture or scenery is the perfect setting, or annoying my boyfriends kids getting them to stop and smile all the time.
I guess I should actually tell you a bit about what I will be blogging about here.
- Beauty. There are so many beauty bloggers out there that I am just one in a sea of people, I love to try out new products and review them, giving my honest opinions on whether I like them or not, whether they’re worth the money but I often feel like my opinion isn’t worth reading (or maybe I just don’t promote myself very well). I hope that I come up with some new ideas in this field and change things up a little bit from what I used to write.
- Photography. This is completely a hobby, I have a Canon 1300D SLR and I love it, I wish I had more opportunity to really use it, but having said that I really want to do more posts showcasing my photographs, photograph challenges and working on my general blog photography.
- Entertainment. This is quite a varied category and it will probably consist mostly of book reviews, I do love a good book (although I am a major TV addict). I am lucky to be on Jenny’s list for her Neverland Book Tours so be sure to come back for plenty of reviews and content. I want to try and get into television and movie reviews too, but I guess only time will tell how well I get on with writing those kind of posts.
- Lifestyle. Seeing as I have actually had a blog for quite a while now this word still baffles me. I had googled it, and asked other bloggers but I don’t really understand the whole ‘lifestyle’ word and what is actually considered as a lifestyle post, but I will learn I’m sure and have many of these posts to show you.
- Travel. I have had the travel bug for as long as I can remember, I love to travel far and wide and these are my favourite kind of posts to write so hopefully I’ll have plenty of travel posts up, places, things to do, lists and much more.
