Good afternoon readers, I hope you’re all enjoying your day. Today I have a post featuring my new ColourPop cosmetics, I’ve had them a couple of weeks now but I’ve been taking some time off blogging so here we are. I’m sure plenty of you have seen these items many times throughout the blogging community but this is my first ColourPop order and even though it cost me much more than I’d have liked I’m super excited to actually get to using it.
So, as I’m sure many of you will completely understand, I didn’t even know where to start when I logged onto the website. Knowing that there would be customs charges on top of the order I didn’t want to spend too much, so eventually I settled on these little beauties:-
‘Yes, Please’ pressed powder shadow palette
Supernova Shadow in ‘Hard To Impress’
‘Feelin’ Fine’ Ultra Glossy Lip Collection
‘It’s Vintage’ Ultra Matte Lip Minis
Yes, Please - £12.22 ( $16 )
I have heard such awesome things about ColourPop eyeshadows and as much as I would have loved some of the individual ones I figured that getting a palette was probably my best option to try out some of their eyeshadows. Trying to choose one palette on their website is so hard, I eventually chose the Yes, Please palette purely because it had red and yellow colours.
This palette comes in a yellow box but the palette itself is grey with ‘Cute AF’ and ColourPop written on the front in white and yellow writing. The palette has 12 pressed eyeshadows, 4 metallic in the colours ‘Bling’, ‘Louie’, ‘Butter Cake’ & ‘Chauffeur’ and 8 matte in the colours ‘Full Zip’, ‘Big Cocktails’, ‘Champs’, ‘Spoiled’, ‘GNO’, ‘Mischief’, ‘Note To Self’, & ‘French Kiss’.
The ingredients for this palette are not on the palette itself but you can find there here on their website.
Hard To Impress - £5.40 ( $7 )
This little beauty was never originally in my basket, it came out the day before I made my order and I thought, you know with Christmas coming up why not get something with a little bit of sparkle. It’s a cream eyeshadow, and in all honesty I’m not exactly sure how well it will turn out but I’m intrigued by it.
Again there are no ingredients on the packaging so you can read what they are on the ColourPop website, here.
Feelin’ Fine - £13.72 ( $18 )
Well now, I certainly couldn’t place an order and not order some lip glosses. I am really into matte lip products but again the Christmas season was on it’s way and something with a little bit of metallic sparkle was needed. As much as I love to go for bold colours I definitely get more wear out of nude shades and thought that was probably the best option for trying them out.
The ingredients for these are actually on the box but I figured I may as well just leave you the link for the ColourPop website than sit here and write them all out.
It’s Vintage - £11.00 ( $14.40 )
As I said above I’m partial to a matte lip rather than a glossy so I couldn’t not get some matte lipsticks to try out and managed to get these little minis in the sale, I just hope they live up to the majorly high expectations I have for them.
And finally here are the ingredients for the It’s Vintage lipsticks here.
I’m actually really impressed with how quickly they arrived, I was expecting to be waiting weeks but they were sent the day after my order and only took a week to arrive.
Order Total: £42.34 ( $55.40 )
Exchange Charge: £1.27
Customs: £17.76
Have you tried any of ColourPop’s products before? I would love to hear what your thoughts are.

I have heard a lot of hype around ColourPop's products but also seen quite a few mixed reviews, especially regarding the customs charges! I'm happy to see that yours didn't amount to much and that you were impressed by the products you received! Those lip glosses look gorgeous and you are absolutely right, it would not be a make-up order without them!!

The products themselves are really good, but being in the UK - the customs charges and the Royal Mail handling fee kind of ruin it and don't make the products as cheap as you first think. I'd love to try more of their things but the customs just puts me off making anymore orders. Thank you for the comment.
DeleteThe minis are so cute! I really want to try colourpop products.

They are adorable, so handy to just throw in your bag too. I'd love to try more of their products, the customs puts me off though. Thank you for the comment.
